Airtel, Axis Bank likely to post dip in PAT for Q1FY18
Bharti Airtel and Axis Bank were trading almost flat during morning hour on Tuesday ahead of their first quarter financial results of FY18. Airtel was trading at Rs 422 per share, marginally up by Rs 2.05 per share, whereas Axis Bank was trading at Rs 531.05 per share, down by Rs 3.25 per share.

PAT may fall 78% to Rs 317 Cr.
Revenue may decline by 14% to Rs 21,927 Cr.
EBITDA estimated 21% down at Rs 7,566 Cr.
Axis Bank – Q1FY18 expectations (YoY):
PAT likely to decrease by 20% to Rs 4,791.8 Cr.
NII estimated up 6.1% at Rs 9,337 Cr.
Loan growth estimated at 10%.
Airtel has a weightage of 1.39%, while Axis Bank has a weightage of 2.45% in the Nifty50 index. The index has erased all its opening bell gains and was trading at 9,968 level, marginally up by 2 points. It would be interesting to watch out further the performance of these two stocks in Tuesday’s trading session.
