‘BUY’ or ‘SELL’ ideas from experts for Tuesday, 10 January 2017
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty are likely to open on a flat note with positive bias on Tuesday following mixed global cues.
Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX Nifty) was trading 15.50 points, or 0.19 per cent, up at 8263.50 in morning trade, indicating a flat to positive start for domestic equity markets.
Asian peers Nikkei and Shanghai indices were trading lower by 0.03 per cent and 0.20 per cent, respectively, in morning trade, while Hang Seng was up 0.43 per cent.
Back home, the benchmark BSE Sensex remained range-bound in choppy trade on Monday, ending about 33 points down as investors preferred to stay light ahead of earnings season and macroeconomic numbers amid estimates of slowdown in the country’s GDP growth.
