‘BUY’ or ‘SELL’ ideas from experts for Wednesday, 28 December 2016
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty are likely to open in green on Wednesday following mixed global cues. SGX Nifty was trading 18 points, or 0.22 per cent, up at 8,035.50, indicating a positive start NSE Nifty index. Asian stocks were trading mixed in morning trade on Wednesday. Nikkei index was trading up by 0.03 per cent, while Shanghai and Hang Seng indices were down 0.09 per cent and 0.02 per cent, respectively.
On Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average index added 11.23 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 19,945.04 on Tuesday, the S&P 500 gained 5.09 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 2,268.88 and the Nasdaq Composite added 24.75 points, or 0.45 percent, to 5,487.44.
Domestic benchmark indices witnessed a big pullback rally on Tuesday, with the Sensex logging its biggest single-day gain of over 406 points in nearly three weeks and gold rebounding from an 11-month low.
