Dhampur Sugar Mills acquires shares of subsidiary Ehaat

Dhampur Sugar Mills has informed about the acquisition of the equity shares in its wholly-owned subsidiary company Ehaat Limited, on Friday.

The company’s investment of Rs 2 crore in its subsidiary by way of subscribing 20 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each at par on rights basis.

Dhampur Sugar Mills holds entire 37,70,000 equity share of Rs 10 each in Ehaat and it continues to be wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

On Friday, shares of Dhampur Sugar Mills closed at Rs 229.65, up by 4.17% on BSE. It opened at Rs 222.85 per share. It touched an intraday high of Rs 231.85 and low of Rs 218.15. The stock's 52-week high and low stood at Rs 256.60 and Rs 96.05, respectively.

Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd ended at Rs 229.65, up by Rs 9.2 or 4.17% from its previous closing of Rs 220.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 222.85 and touched a high and low of Rs 231.85 and Rs 218.15 respectively. A total of 1006789(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1524.59 crore.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs 256.6 on 21-Apr-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 96.05 on 09-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 231.85 and Rs 200.4 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.09 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.02 % and 46.89 % respectively.
