Diesel price in Mumbai reached the highest level ever

According to the report, in a chart released by Indian Oil (Indian Oil) today, the price of diesel in Mumbai has reached Rs 69.17 per liter, which rose to Rs 69.13 per liter on Sunday. It is noteworthy that at the beginning of 2018, the oil ministry has recommended a reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel to reduce the impact of crude oil for the increase in the international market, Which was ignored by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the budget presented on February 01.

From June 2017, government oil companies are making daily modifications to the fuel prices. At the same time, from November 2014 to January 2016, Jaitley increased excise duty 9 times to raise capital between the fall in global oil prices. In October last year only once was reduced to 2 rupees per liter.

With the reduction in excise duty in October, the central government had asked states to reduce VAT, but BJP, other than the BJP-ruled states of Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, ignored the talk of the center.
