Global cues for D-Street on Wednesday

Here is a look at some of the top global cues that investors need to know before starting their day on D-Street on Wednesday:
Cues from Singapore positive
: At 6.10 am, Nifty50 futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange were trading 12.50 points higher, at 9308, indicating a positive opening for the domestic market.
Global markets upbeat: Asian markets across Japan, Korea and Australia were trading positive in early morning trade. On Tuesday, the Nasdaq Composite hit a record level of 6036, breaching the 6000 mark for the first time, led by gains in index heavyweights, Apple and Microsoft. For the day, Nasdaq Composite was up 41.67 points or 0.7% at 6,025. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index advanced 232 points, or 1.12%, to 20,996; while the S&P500 index gained 14 points, or 0.61%.
Nifty50 forms bullish candle: Experts believe the formation of a bullish candle on the daily chart, following a 230-odd point rally from April 19’s intraday low of 9075, suggests there could be more legroom for the ongoing rally.
