Indian ADRs closed with mixed sentiments in the trading session of May 3.
In the banking sector, ICICI Bank closed higher by 4.36% at USD 8.85; and HDFC Bank closed higher by 0.01% at USD 81.40.
In the IT sector, Infosys closed higher by 1.10% at USD 14.68; and Wipro closed lower by 0.30% at USD 9.93.
In the other sectors, Tata Motors closed lower by 0.32% at USD 34.70; and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories closed lower by 0.66% at USD 40.58.
On Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average eked out modest gains, while other major indices posted marginal losses after the Federal Reserve left monetary policy unchanged as expected, and indicated it remains on track to deliver two more rate increases by the year-end.bonaz capital
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 8 points to finish at 20,958. The S&P 500 slipped 3 points to close at 2,388. The Nasdaq Composite ended with losses of 23 points to 6,073.
