M-cap companies rule BSE, touches all-time high of Rs 125 lakh Cr
As per the data available with the BSE, the total market capitalisation of the listed companies has touched record high level of Rs 1,25,36,019 Cr on Tuesday. The good performance of the broader market stocks has taken the M-cap to the new high, of course with the help of the thirty stocks from BSE Sensex bunch.
There were 2832 companies trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday. The BSE Sensex closed higher for the third consecutive day on the Tuesday at 29943 level up by 288 points. The broader market indices, BSE Mid-cap index closed up by 1.05% at 14780 level and BSE Small-cap index closed up by 0.5% at 15379 level.
The Reliance Industries Limited have been giving a staggering performance and crossed Tata Consultancy Services to become the most valued company on BSE. The company’s market capitalisation as of Tuesday stands at Rs 465753 Cr.
The investor’s wealth has increased by around Rs 1.11 lakh crore on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Sensex has crossed the 30000 mark for the first time ever and Nifty is firmly trading above the 9300 mark for the first time ever. The market capitalisation of the BSE listed companies is likely to rise further owing to strong positivity floating in the market.
