NCC gets four new orders worth Rs2,061cr for June; Stock gains 3%
Shares of NCC gained 3% on the BSE after the company received new orders worth Rs2,060.96cr in June 2018.
“Out of this, three orders totaling Rs1,997.51cr pertain to buildings division and one order of Rs63.45cr pertains to water & environment division. All these orders are received from various central and state government agencies and do not include any internal orders. The company has so far received new orders of Rs3,668.78cr during April-June 2018,” the company said in a BSE filing.
The stock is currently trading at Rs100 up by Rs3.15 or 3.25% from its previous closing of Rs96.85 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs99 and has touched a high and low of Rs101.35 and Rs98.35 respectively.
NCC has a pan India presence with offices across 13 cities in key states. Building & transport formed 59%, water & environment 19%, irrigation 8%, electrical 6%, and other segments formed 8% of FY18 order book. The company’s order book was worth ~Rs33,795cr as of FY18.
