Prices of turmeric futures (May) are likely to be traded in the range of 6,700-6,880 rupees. Some merchants in spot markets are demanding higher prices for hybrid variety turmeric.
Domestic businessmen are fond of buying Finger Vearyi turmeric. Turmeric has increased in markets of Nizamabad and North India. Salem Hybrid Finger Variety has increased by Rs 200 a quintal. And the price of new Finger Variety has increased by Rs. 450.In all markets, the price of Root Variety has increased by Rs. 50. Prices of cumin futures (May) are likely to rise and prices can rise to Rs 16,400. Due to better purchasing among the median arrivals, prices of cumin are increasing in the major spot markets of the country. There is a possibility of an increase in export demand from India because of the supply of cumin in the international markets following the communal tension in Syria.Prices of coriander futures (May) are likely to be traded with the soft trend and prices are likely to climb at the level of Rs 5,050. Due to the sluggish buyers, there is a trend of moderating prices of coriander in major markets in the country. Businesses have a lot of stock and they do not want to stop the stock.There is a tendency of softness due to the estimation of higher availability than weaker demand. Prices of cardamom futures (May) are likely to rise to Rs 960 per quintal. Due to the inward and quality drop, prices have declined. After getting better prices in recent days, the supply has increased due to the release of stocks by the producers.
