Realty stocks extend Monday gains
The Realty stocks have extended their Monday gains. The Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd. (HDIL) stock is the top gainer in the BSE Realty index. The stock has touched its intraday high of Rs 99.8 per share up by 7.4%.
The DLF Limited is the top contributor the BSE Realty index. The index is trading higher by 1.58% at 2076.9 level and is the top gainer among the sectoral indices on BSE.
The other realty stocks like Unitech, Sobha Limited, Godrej Properties and Oberoi Realty are also trading in positive territory.Bonaz Capital
The demonetisation drive was said to be the biggest hit to the Realty segment in terms of their bottom lines.
Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd is currently trading at Rs 98.45, up by Rs 5.5 or 5.92% from its previous closing of Rs 92.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 94.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs 99.8 and Rs 94.15 respectively. So far 31606408(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4034.07 crore.(Bonaz Capital Facebook)
The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 108.75 on 12-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 52.25 on 27-Dec-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 93.55 and Rs 85.35 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.49 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.29 % and 17.23 % respectively.
The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
