Stocks to watch out for on Monday

The Indian equity markets may open flat to slightly lower on Monday as cues from Asian markets are mixed. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 9,980, indicating that the Nifty may open with marginal loss of 5 points at opening bell.

Following are the important stocks to watch out for on Monday:

GlaxoSmithKline Pharma: Board of the company has approved sale of 60 acre land in Thane to Oberoi Realty for Rs 555 crore.

R Systems: The company is to issue 2.97 crore shares to shareholders of GM solutions as per the terms of the agreement.

Usha Martin: The company has clarified that it is certainly considering the sale of its wire and wire rope business with a view to decrease its debt

VST Tillers: The company has entered into an agreement with Kukje Machinery Co., Korea to avail the required technology for manufacture of higher horse power tractors.

Godrej Industries: Godrej and Astec Life would be in focus as Godrej Agrovet IPO opens on October 4.

Lakshmi Vilas Bank: meeting of the Board of Directors of The Lakshmi Vilas Bank Limited is scheduled to be held on September 27, 2017, to consider, evaluate and approve raising of funds through a Rights Issue.

Meanwhile, Nifty ended at 9,964.4 level, down by 157.5 points, while Sensex closed at 31,922 level, down by 447 points on Friday. Nifty and Sensex witnessed the biggest 10-day fall in the past 10 months.
