American automotive and energy storage company, Tesla, will unveil its most awaited range of the semi-trucks in September.
Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk took to twitter to announce the scheduled launch date, lauding the team working on it for their efforts.
“Tesla Semi truck unveil set for September. Team has done an amazing job. Seriously next level,” tweeted Elon Musk.
In subsequent tweets, Musk also revealed that the company plans to launch an electric pickup truck in 18 to 24 months from now, adding that Tesla’s next generation Roadster will be convertible.
It is yet to be clarified by Tesla, whether the trucks will be self-driven.
