Top 10 Stocks in Focus Today: Tata Global Beverages, Ambuja Cements, PNB Housing Finance

Tata Global Beverages: The company reported 48.19% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 108.14 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016. Tata Global Beverages had posted a net profit of Rs 72.97 crore in July-September quarter a year ago.

Ambuja Cements, ACC: LafargeHolcim announces that its subsidiary Holderind Investments Ltd. has increased its shareholding in Ambuja Cement Ltd. (Ambuja) by 39,100,000 shares to 1,253,156,361 shares (63.11% of total Ambuja shares) and in ACC Limited (ACC), a subsidiary of Ambuja, by 7,870,000 shares to 8,411,000 shares (4.48% of total ACC shares).

Apollo Tyres: The company is planning to set up a new factory in Andhra Pradesh to manufacture tyres for two-wheelers and pickup trucks.

AIA Engineering Ltd: The company has posted a net profit of Rs 112 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 99 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.

Elgi Equipments: The revenue of the company reported 8.4% below estimate of Rs 373 cr, while net profit was reported 3% lower than the estimated figure of Rs 19 cr.
