Prestige Estate Projects: The real estate player is looking to raise funds by divesting stake across its business verticals, starting with the commercial and retail portfolios, reported a daily. The company, said to have sounded out some top private-equity players, has multiple realty businesses ranging from retail to commercial to hotels.
Banking stocks: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said banks have an exposure of Rs 97,681 crore in the telecom sector, which is grappling with financial stress. In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha, Jaitley said SBI Chairman has pointed out that stress in the telecom sector has reached “highly unsustainable levels” due to erosion of topline and earnings of the service providers, reported a daily.
Suzlon Energy: The company won order from Alfanar Group of 50.40 MW wind power project.
Hero MotoCorp: Hero MotoCorp has reported its Q1FY18 results on Tuesday which stood at (YoY): profit after tax at Rs 914 crore vs Rs 883 crore (+3.5%). Revenue stood at Rs 8,612.9 crore vs Rs 8,010 crore.
TD Power Systems: The company has received order of Rs 750 crore from European MNC.
HDFC, PVR and Nestle India: HDFC and Federal Bank, Bharat Financial, Muthoot Finance and L&T Finance, Nestle India and PVR and Inox Leisure will announce their quarterly earnings on Wednesday.
