VA Tech Wabag bags Delhi Jal Board order
The Rs296cr order comprises the rehabilitation and upgradation of an182 MLD wastewater treatment plant at Rithala under the Yamuna Action Plan.
VA Tech Wabag, a leading pure-play water technology Indian multinational, has secured an order worth Rs296cr from the Delhi Jal Board towards the rehabilitation and upgradation of a 182 MLD wastewater treatment plant at Rithala under the Yamuna Action Plan.
The scope of the project includes the design, supply, construction, and commissioning, including operation and maintenance, of the plant for 11 years. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will finance the project.
Va Tech Wabag Ltd is currently trading at Rs490.50, up Rs0.9, or 0.18%, from its previous close of Rs489.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs494.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs500.40 and Rs485.20, respectively. So far, 1,04,936 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs2,676.03cr.
