Vijaya Bank trades flat after hiking lending rates
Public-sector entity Vijaya Bank was trading flat after it revised the marginal cost of fund-based lending rates (MCLR) for some categories by up to 0.5%. For the three-year loan tenor, MCLR rates have been hiked by 0.5% to 9.25%, while for the two-year and one-year loan tenor, MCLR rates have been hiked by 0.35 and 0.05% respectively.
Vijaya Bank is currently trading at Rs51.40 up by Rs0.15 or 0.29% from its previous closing of Rs51.25 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs51.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs51.60 and Rs51 respectively. So far 75,893 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs6,683.76cr.
