Vitara Brezza: most popular compact SUV
One of the most popular compact SUV, Vitara Brezza of Maruti Suzuki, has sold a record 1.1 lakh units in the first year of its launch. The Vitara Brezza was launched in the month of March in last year.
Brezza currently has pending bookings of over 50000 units. Depending on the variant of the SUV ordered, the waiting period currently stands at around 20 weeks.
Within a very short period of time, the Vitara Brezza has received a huge response from the Indian markets. Brezza has been conceptualised, designed and developed in India using Suzuki’s global platform, and engine.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.’s stock, one of the high-priced auto stock, is trading flat in Tuesday’s trading session. The stock has PE ratio of 26.74 and TTM EPS of Rs 223.86.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is currently trading at Rs 5997.35, up by Rs 11.05 or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs 5986.3 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 5980 and has touched a high and low of Rs 6008 and Rs 5979.05 respectively. So far 85160(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 180834.15 crore.
The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 6230.3 on 08-Feb-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs 3418.8 on 08-Apr-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 6197 and Rs 5965.55 respectively.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.21 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.88 % and 6.91 % respectively.
