Welspun gains 2% on order wins in US
Shares of Welspun Corp were trading over 2% up on Friday as the company bagged an order for an oil and gas project in the Americas region.
The work includes supply of 220kmt of pipes for the project, the company said in a press note on Thursday after market hours. This order has led the company’s current order book to stand at 1,776 KMTs with a value of Rs15,000cr, the company added.
Welspun Corp’s share price is currently at Rs179.35, up by Rs4 or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs175.35 on the BSE.
The scrip has opened at Rs179. It has touched a high and low of Rs183.90 and Rs178.50, respectively. So far 9,60,763 (NSE+BSE) shares have been traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs4,650.74cr.
